FAQs

Seasonal maintenance questions

Why should a landlord book seasonal maintenance?

Blocked gutters and minor external defects turn into expensive repairs quickly. A seasonal visit catches problems before they cause damp, rot or tenant complaints.

What is the difference between Winter Ready and Spring Recovery?

Winter Ready prepares the property for cold weather — gutters, insulation, ventilation and external seals. Spring Recovery checks what winter actually did — damp and mould survey, drainage, moss and timber touch-ups.

Do tenants need to be present?

Not necessarily. External work can usually be done without access. Internal checks need access, but we coordinate with the tenant or agent at a convenient time.

Will you quote for any remedial work you find?

Yes. The photo report includes a priority repair list with fixed-price options. There is no obligation to proceed, but most landlords book the work there and then because the scope is already documented.

Can I book both seasonal packages for the same property?

Yes. Many landlords book Winter Ready in autumn and Spring Recovery in early spring. We keep the property on record so the second visit is quicker and any developing issues are tracked.
